PG Ladies, question

Ya know I was thinking after my rant about Angie and Brad, is sex really better when you're pregnant?  Im thinking once you get to a certain size it has got to be kind of a hassle afterawhile.

Re: PG Ladies, question

  • I have no response as life is no different for me yet, but J and I were looking at pregnancy books last night at Barnes and Noble, and one had a two page spread with full-nudity third trimester sex positions.  It was entertaining as we are both 12-year olds.  :)
  • lol the "o" can be way better and more intense but yes i feel huge and am uncomfy during sex. like the other day my legs started going numb lol.
  • Is it possible to be addicted to the more intense o in pg sex I wonder?  How great can pg sex be when you've got 6 kids under the age of 6 screaming in the background?

  • Until recently, sex hadn't really changed for me. As I'm getting bigger it's starting to get uncomfortable, but not enough to stop!

  • Pregnant sex is exciting.  Your vaginal area is heightened so yes, it is really better for those who can tolerate doing it.  I never find it to be a hassle.  I just can't do every position I could prior to pregnancy.

I have a feeling when it comes to it, we'll be one of those who can't tolerate it, well I will maybe, but H won't. He gets grossed out when AF is visiting and makes me feel like I have the plague. I hate it!

  • Yeah, my brother and his wife don't do it.  They tried this second time around when she was in her 2nd trimester and her stomach touched my brother during and he went limp.  He is totally turned off by the pregnant belly.  And since they had 2 kids in the last 24 months, they haven't had sex at all since my new nephew was born October 3rd.  They are afraid of getting pregnant since they were careful last time.  He is getting a vasectomy in a couple weeks.

I couldn't survive if my H held out on me like that.  I can't go that long without sex.

Nothing against your brother but I would be so upset if H felt like that. I know not everyone thinks it sexy to be pregnant but I think I'm already going to have body issues when I'm pregnant and if my H thought I was un-sexy it would probably crush me.

On a side note - I couldn't imagine not having sex for 9 months! Good lord, I'd go crazy!

  • I know!  And the worst part is my SIL was bulemic(sp?)/anorexic before they started dating and got married.  So she already has major body issues.  She is 5'10", a size 4 and wants to lose weight AFTER just having had her 2nd child.  She has already lost all of the weight if she even gained any from carrying the last baby.  This is a picture of her taken on Sunday and keep in mind my nephew, the baby boy in her arms, was born October 3rd.

  • Pah! I've never been that thin - and she's had 2 kids!! Dang it!

She looks fantastic though. She'd be too skinny if she lost more weight.

Me either!  She is perfect but she looks just as great at a size 8 or 10 and I've seen that too as we were roommates before my brother and her ever started dating 7 years ago.

  • I agree, she looks great!

I've wondered before how people who have eating disorders view me (in all my pudginess) since from what I understand they look at themselves and see something completely different from the rest of us. Does that mean when they look at others the same size as them (or even larger) that they think that person is fat also?

  • Kermie, no they dont view other ppl like they do themselves.  Honest to goodness, I've battled my weight since I was 7 (110 then).  Whether Im 200 lbs or 150, I always see myself as 200 lb me. So I just have to go by clothes fit rather than in the mirror.
  • Interesting... I've always wondered about that. Thanks for informing me!
