Please recommend your air purifier.

I'm hooked on the Oreck info-merical for their air purifier but not about to spend between 300-500 bucks! any help would be great!!

thanks

Re: Please recommend your air purifier.

  • I have a Hamilton Beech True Air.    It doesn't have a hepa filter or any fancy ionic technology, so it wouldn't be good for preventing allergies, etc. It works awesome for removing cooking smells and just generally freshening up the air, though.    It was really inexpensive ($40 when I bought it) and the replacement filters are only $15 or so (which I only change a couple times a year).    I've had it for 5 years and it still works great.

Not sure if this was what you had in mind, but I thought I would throw that out there.
