His family.

Okay, is there anyone who can not stand their husbands family. Some times they are just too much for me. They always have something to say. And his sister is another story they always pitty her she's 28 years old. And she lives off of SS. Really she has her moments but she's normal! Everything is always about her. To top it off she spends money like she has it! She can't afford anything and complains yet she stills spends it like it nothing!

Re: His family.

  • Why are you so involved in these people's business? Especially if you can't stand them? Where is your husband in all of this?
  • The only reason why I'm so involved is because I happen to be staying with his parents and sister for a couple months until we find a place. My husband stay quiet half the time and just says I could give a crap about what they wanna say. He tries to ignore it half the time!

    GET OUT NOW!!!

Maybe it's a blessing that everything is about the sister- keeps them out of your business that way.

And until her spending habits start to affect you, it's not really your concern.  She's not asking you or your H for money, be glad for that.

  • Why is it taking you months to find a place to live?
  • The SSA doesn't just hand out checks. A 28 year old collecting would have to have a considerable degree of disability. Does she have emotional or developmental issues that perhaps make her frustrating as a person?

I'm guessing the OP thinks the SSA pops out checks like they're penny candy.
  • How Fing old are you? I'm going to bet you don't pay rent to live with your in laws. You sound like the one causing problems.
  • you're living off your in-laws and you think you have room to complain?

is that your a$$ in your profile picture?  as in, the one you're talking out of?

You have no room to judge how your ILs spend their money when they're supporting you.  Move out or butt out.

  • Yep, if you don't like your circumstances move out. You're a grown up. Start acting like it.
  • You need to move asap.

  • I had to live with my IL while we relocated to a different part of the country and were closing on our new house. We paid rent, but found ta being quiet about everything was the best option. We spent most of our time out away from the house, helping around the house or in our room.

If we didn't drama would pop up. It's hard, but you have no room to judge here. It's their space. Not yours.

And others are right- SSA doesn't just hand out a check. It's a long grueling process with constant re-qualifications.

My advice- find something you like about them all or have in common and focus on that.
