Crock pot - mistake what should I do?

Hi, I just got done chopping, etc. and put everything into the crock pot for potato chowder. However.........I was supposed to put the evaporated milk and half and half in the last 10 min only, but I put both in right at the beginning which means that those ingredients will cook for 6 hours now instead of 10 min at the end. Will it taste terrible? Should I throw it out and start over? Thanks! And hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

  • I would think they would curdle after that long.

  • I would probably just leave it and see what happens. I know that one of my crockpot recipes calls for sour cream and that cooks all day long and is fine.
