hahaha well I've always have heard about this happening to people. However I haven't ever experienced it before. What do I do? Is there anything I can do?

one of our new red pillow cases somehow made it in my whites load... and bam I go to put them in the dryer & my washer is full of PINK clothes.

I thought love was only real in fairy tales meant for someone else but not for me but then I saw his face now I'M A BELIEVER

Re: Turned my whites pink!!! Help!?

  • Same thing happen with me, my white top turned pink because of my red scarf, I soak both of them together  :(  what do I do now?

  • Not sure what you can do now, but for the future, I was my clothes (never separating) in cold water and they don't shrink or color run.  Just a tip for the future.

  • Try soaking your whites in bleach water: 1 cup bleach for every 10 cups hot water. They should whiten right up!! Anything cheaply made might react badly to the bleach, but good-quality stuff should be fine. I have bleached a lot of things without issue (scarves, dresses, jeans, and a shirt) and never had anything unravel, but a friend of mine tried it with a $5 pair of jeans from Ross and they completely fell apart! But sorry, I don't have any tips for your pillowcase. :(

This. Or just simply run the load again and add bleach to the washer (into the space design for it)

    Good luck!!

  • Thank you Ladies for your help. Ran it with bleach 3 more times & some articles are white again while some just refuse to not be pink! Oh well guess I'll just have to buy another pair of pink shoes to adjust to my growing pink wardrobe ;)  My red pillowcase is doing just fine. LOL
