Juicing recipes?

Hi all,

I got this amazing juicer as a wedding present. I love it, and I've been using it. All I really know to do, though, is to make sure there are a lot of greens in there and apples to sweeten it up. I end up drinking basically the same juice every day. Has anyone found any good juicing recipes that I can try, just to shake things up a bit?

 Thanks!!

  • ::lurker::

    Green Drink - 1/2 cucumber, 2 c. spinach, 6 kale leaves, 3 celery stalks, 2 apples, 1 lime  (sub bell peppers and/or jalapenos for spinach and kale for a different drink)

    Other than that, play around with fruits and veggies and flavors you like. My husband has been juicing almost exclusively for over a year. Keep in mind what is in season. We rotate certain things based on their flavor at the time of year.

    Basic Orange Juice: oranges apple, strawberries. depending on time of year, we rotate pineapple, grapefuit, nectarines and peaches

    Raspberry: raspberries, carrots, lemon, peach, apple (also good with nectarine instead of peach)

    Blueberry: blueberries, peach, strawberries

  • I like to add some ginger root. Just peel it and push it through - especially good with juices that have apple.
