  • OP, I don't think posting random political posts on various boards so that you can spread your Obama hate is going to do anything for Romney in November. You might want to try to find another productive way to gain support for your candidate.

All that you are really doing is slandering Obama, without providing any factual evidence or proving what your candidate will do better.

"Obama is pretty useless and  has NPD......scary!!!!!"

You sound like a conspiracy theorist. I'm sure you don't believe he's a citizen either.

I watched 5 seconds of the video and could quickly tell that it was BS, IMHO. Of course I have no evidence to necessarily prove Obama isn't suffering from NPD, but I'm fairly certain that you can't diagnose someone with any mental disorder without actually ever treating or talking to them.

"Obama has been one broken promise after another. I'm voting Romney because I don't trust Obama with this econonmy. It's getting worse by the minute. Plus, he does not have experience. I honestly can't believe he is our president."

This is just slander, again, with no evidence.

"Obama has made the economy even worse and talks non-sense. He has proven to be full of EMPTY promises. Hope we don't get another 4 years of it. Have you gone to Romney's site? Obama doesn't say much either and what he says he doesn't follow through on. "

He's followed through on plenty. Please visit www.whatthef*ckhasobamadonesofar.com (remove the star and add a U, in case TN tries to sensor the link).

I don't know how things are where you live but the economy is improving where I live. Businesses are building and expanding, new home construction is taking off again, both of which supply more jobs - classic signs that the economy is getting better.

Here's a source that discusses signs that the economy is slowly improving:

Perhaps you're not familiar with the signs of economic growth.

"I disagree. Obama is a mess!! And, the economy is getting worse! MUCH worse!!! I am very concerned with the economy. Crime rates have become of control the past two years!! He is destroying this economy. Plus, I am not a socialist."

Again, random BS about crime rates without any actual evidence.

Using the sources from the FBI, you can see that the violent crime rate in the US has actually decreased between 2008 - 2011.

"It's all I can do to get this poor excuse for a president out of office.  The Obama administration is destroying our country.  People have been unemployed for years, most Americans are on some sort of social aid....and, people on this board are going to vote for Obama because he's said he's for women and gay couples????  Are you actually so ignorant to believe that the Republican party is going to throw both women and gays to the wolves?"

Regarding unemployment:  Let's be honest, we all know people who are unemployed. I can think of three of my family members. How hard did they look for jobs? None of them actually went out to businesses and submitted resumes.IMHO, that is making an honest effort to look for a job. Submitting resumes online a couple times a week, is not an honest effort. Yet all three of them blame Obama for not finding them a job and their way of "sticking it to the Obama" was sitting on unemployment making little effort to find a job, while also complaining. It's pretty ridiculous and I bet every person out there can tell the same story of someone in their life.

And data from the U.S. Department of Labor shows that unemployment has decreased from around 10% in 2009 to almost 8% earlier this year.

Yes, I do believe a Republican president will throw women (and gays) "to the wolves." It's happening at the state level in many Republican run states right now!

"Noone expects him to wave a magic wand. He is making it much worse!!!! MUCH!!"

    Useless statement.

This hands down.  The economy is what is most important to me and DH since we are both self employed, plus I hate how it feels that the government is getting more involved in our lives.  It amazes me how many people on these boards are voting for obama.  I read the polls and read how about romney will win and how obama is destroying the democratic party as now many democrats are going to republican and then I get on here and read all this stuff.  I really hope romney wins for our economy's sake

I did this to get my last office job and actually got hired because it showed I REALLY wanted a job.  I thought I would never find a job and I finally got one 6 months later and that was under Bush admin.   something the unemployment rate doesn't include is those that are under employed or who have given up

  • Boy, the OP had NO agenda at all.  Certainly not to bash Obama.

And LOL that anyone would vote for Romney because they want the government out of their lives.  The Republican party is way too interested in what happens with my uterus.  And then there are fools like Akin that want to pass laws based on "facts" that aren't related to scientific truths at all.

Those of us with brains realize that no one person has the ability to control the economy.  If people elect Romney with the expectation that he'll be able to take office and fix everything in 4 years, we'll be in the exact same spot we're in right now in 4 years.

Yeah, I really hate that part where insurance companies are no longer able to screw people over for uncontrollable preexisting conditions, where DADT got repealed, where the fed govt no longer defends the DOMA, where he got our troops out of the financial and humanitarian f*ckup that was the Iraq war, where he actually looked again at how f'ed up Afghanistan had become since Bush forgot about it and got the military rolling in there again so that we will hopefully be able to actually get out in 2014 THIRTEEN frickin' years later (thanks, Dubya)...

    Yeah, all that really sucked.

And in all fairness... he now has 3.5 years of experience as POTUS, which is 3.5 more years than Romney... in all fairness.

Obama - same sex marriage is a big deal for me and also abortion rights.  We should not take the rights away from women.

I agree in some cases, like rape but people over-use abortion as a birth control method. I know a girl who had THREE because she didn't want a baby.

But I'm sure she would have been an awesome mother who would raise fine, educated, upstanding citizens if she had just had those babies instead, right?

  • DH and I strongly support Obama. The republican party doesn't offer anything to me. Not as a woman, not as someone who believes in the importance of education or protecting our environment, not as someone who cares about racial and sexual equality. I also strongly support the healthcare law because I think healthcare is a right, not a privilege and it's about time someone took the insurance industry to task. My DH is a physician and agrees. I also think Obama thinks more globally about issues and the Republican party is hamstrung by the religious right and the Tea Party. I also wonder whether the person who called him a "socialist" on this thread is actually a 1 percenter, and therefore has something to gain, or a regular ol 99 percenter who has everything to gain from affordable healthcare, education and what has actually been tax CUTS on the middle class.

I don't usually post on this board and acknowledge that you are probably not going to change your mind based on what some stranger posts on a chat board.   But....your post here is so ridiculous.  So what you are basiclly saying is that a woman is going to have to prove why she deserves an abortion before actually having one?  And someone will have the right to say, "nope your reasons aren't valid please go ahead and have that baby now."

That is absolutely ridiculous to even attempt to say.  Who are you to judge a woman's choice with her own body?  Right to life or not why should you ever get to pass a law that infringes on my body and my choices.  If you are against abortion I am fine with that but do not think you should have the right to force your choices on me.  That is not the governments place.
