Trouble in Paradise

    HOWEVER, other than protecting assets coming INTO the marriage, a Pre-Nup is pretty useless for the average person IN the marriage.

    Does he expect the prenup to control what she spends or saves?  Does he expect to walk away with any of the money earned/saved during the marriage?  Unless you are talking millions of dollars vs under $100k, disparity in income is a pretty normal thing. 

    Instead of having a pre-nup, he needs to have premarital counseling and a set, agreed upon budget/lifestyle (that is fair to both parties) before they get married.
