pricetag 'stickys' on leather

I recently found a darling pair of "born" sandals at Ross Dress for Less on a clearance rack. Couldn't pass the price, they are so comfortable. The problem is that Ross (for some reason I wish they'd stop doing) puts the sticky pricetags on the inside of the shoe. In this case, its where the bottom of your foot (heel) sits on the leather/suede. I can't get the sticky (tackiness) to go away. I've tried everything I can think of.

Anyone have an idea?

Signed,

Bummed with Cute Shoes

  • Have you tried goo gone? H swears by it for removing price tags or stickers. Don't know if it will leave a stain on the leather but if it's inside the shoe it should be ok. hth.

  • Soak a cotton ball with olive oil and put it on the sticker area.  It peels off easily. Must be olive, not veg, oil. You might have to let it soak for alittle bit.
