Menu help please! Tenderloin/ham? HELP!!

I am trying to figure out my Christmas menu, and I had originally decided prime rib, but Dave nixed the idea because it's so pricy.  I know Sam's has great prices on tenderloins (we always pick up a few), so I thought I'd do that, but then I wanted to also do the typical ham (ya know, with the pineapples and marascino cherries! Smile).  But then I realized that's an awful lot of pig.

Should I just do turkey and ham?  I feel like that's such a boring cop-out . . .

  • You could do some type of pot roast? That's cheap no?

    I see nothing bad about turkey and ham!!! Delish!

  • We just had turkey and ham for Thanksgiving and it was great.  My husband actually did the ham on the grill (indirect heat).  The turkey and ham is a nice combination.....or what about turkey and a pork loin roast or crown roast?

  • What about a small turkey breast, a small ham and the the pork tenderloin? But turkey and ham is what we always do. And sometimes you can find good deals on prime rib too!
