OMG I just made your candy cane chocolate chip cookies and they are divine! I added a bit of cocoa powder to the recipe to make the cookies a bit darker so you could see the candy cane chips in them..they're so good!

By the way regarding the sticking to the pan issue if you're a hardcore baker you could invest in a Silpat pan liner http://www.silpat.com/ (Martha stewart uses them all the time). I have one that I use and it is wonderful! Cookies come right off of it no problem at all - even these ones that have the candy cane. Easy peasy and less waste than parchment paper. Well worth the investment.
