What type of trampoline is suit for children?

I want to buy a trampoline for my 2 children but not sure which might be the best purchase. I want it to have a trampoline enclosure net around for safety. I want a strong trampoline so my children won't have any horrible accidents. Does anyone own any trampolines and have any suggestions?

which is suitable

Re: What type of trampoline is suit for children?

  • No trampoline ever. In high school, my cousin's boyfriend was at a party and was the only person on the trampoline (with net around it) when he went THROUGH THE BOTTOM and fractured his leg in two places as well as a hip. Six years later he still has a limp and it cost him a full ride football scholarship.

  • when my sister and I were little my parents' big fear about a trampoline was someone quick running underneath while someone was bouncing above and getting seriously injured (neck, spinal cord, etc.).  For as disappointed as I was as a child, it makes a lot of sense to me now.  I doubt any [future] children of mine will get a trampoline either...  the injury rates are insane (as pp alluded to).
