Suggestions for outfits to add to wardrobe

I'm plus size and it is so, so hard to find fashionable and high quality clothes without spending a fortune.  I'll shop at stores like Lane Bryant and Old Navy for really casual stuff, but it's not high quality so only lasts a season or two.  I can't afford clothes from places like Salon Z at Saks Fifth Avenue, and there aren't many options for stores that are a step up from Old Navy but not as expensive as Saks, like the plus size equivalent to Ann Taylor.  Almost all of my nicer quality clothes come from Talbot's, but I'm tired of being limited to one store.  It's also fairly expensive, and I'll easily spend over $400 on a simple suit, $100 on a top, etc.

I've had great luck having affordable and high quality custom items made for my home on, so I decided to find someone who can make me some clothes.  I found someone who can take a picture and recreate the look.

I want to have her make 8 - 10 items for me for spring and summer.  I want some of the pieces to look fashion forward but others can be classic.  Right now my entire wardrobe is very, very classic, though (from shopping mostly at Talbot's). The problem is I've been so limited for so long, that I'm not even sure HOW to look fashion forward.

I know I like the look of tunics with leggings and sandals.  The tunic needs to be long enough to cover my butt and the tops of my thighs.  I don't wear sleeveless.  I like things that tie or are belted a little above the waist as this is flattering on me.  I'm pear shape, so A line cuts look best.

Any pictures of items you suggest I have her make for me?  Here are a few things I've seen online and like.  What do you think?

Orange blazer (I like the more unstructured look on the right and I love it with the striped shirt)

The second dress from the left but in a floral spring print The tunic, but with shorter sleeves The wrap but in a different color - perhaps a pastel like pink or blue This dress in navy This dress, but without the super deep V and maybe in a color other than orange.

I really love the look of blazers with just about anything - over a dress, with jeans, even with shorts, so I thought I could have her make me a few blazers.  Here are some looks I like.  What colors would you do for spring and summer?  I'm thinking the orange above, pastel pink, navy, and cream? (see the pic with the jacket) (I would need less form fitting pants, though!)

Thoughts and any suggestions?  I know I'm probably picking pretty safe and classic items and I'd love some suggestions that are more trendy.
