Face Wash...

Mine ran out this morning Sad I had been using up a supply of the Neutrogena Skin ID stuff that I had started using around wedding time. P.S. Unless you wash your face a ton do not order that product on auto-shipment...I used it once a day and just couldn't keep up with it!

So, it's been a while since I bought face wash and am wondering what everyone else uses and what they like/don't like about it.

I have combination skin if anyone has specific suggestions. Thanks chicas!

Also combo skin, and I just came across Origins Checks and Balances thanks to my Birchbox and I LOVE it! So much so I ordered a full-sized bottle. It's foamy and a little bit goes a long way... it leaves my skin feeling clean, and I think it's looked the best it has in a long time!

Cetaphil is good face wash that isn't too expensive. I have really sensitive skin (I think I have rosacea) and in October I started using Dermalogica's ultracalming line. It's pricy, but I think it cuts down on my facial redness and keeps my face from getting red throughout the day. It also makes my face feel silky smooth. They carry it at Ulta, but not Sephora unfortunately.

I am simple and use the Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash in Pink Grapefruit. I need the extra exfoliation since I sweat a lot when working out and to scrub off the extra foundation or makeup I wear. I like it, but I am not one to spend much on facewash. I do have problem areas, but usually due to lack of washing or frequency (after a workout or long day) vs. acne.

I'm a little bit obsessed with it. It kind of tingles nicely, so I feel like it is working, it lathers well, and it is cheap. I apply it with one of those pads from the Loreal Go 360 bottle (that ish does not work, btw).

My current regimine:

St. Ives gentle apricot scrub scrubbed with a Cargo BluRay microscrubber cloth - which I got on clearance at Sephora for like $3 and I love.

then Neutrogena blackhead clearing toner applied with a cotton ball.

then Garnier SPF 15 moisturizer.

But, like Meghan, i think I have roseacea so I may check out the Dermetologica like that she rec'd.

I love it. I got a sample box at Ulta that has the cleanser, serum, a face mist (that I don't use) and one or two other things and used it for a while. I think it makes my face less reactive during the day. My face (ESPECIALLY my nose) turns red if I'm hot, cold, angry, embarrassed, upset, if I eat/drink certian things... it's a pain in the butt. I think it's gotten a lot better.

This sounds exactly like me. People are always commenting on how red my face is. And I have one spot on my cheek that stays red all the time. I am definitely going to try this! Thanks so much for the info!

My dermatologist recommended Cetaphil, said it was as good or better than anything on the market. I usually use it. Right now, though, I'm using Philosophy Purity, which I got for a Christmas present, because my mom knows I'm too cheap to buy it for myself. Love love it, too.

I use Burt's Bees for sensitive skin, but I have really dry skin and hate most face washes because they dry out my skin too much. I feel like this one is the perfect amount of clean without stripping my skin.
