I'm in my PJs at home as well, and just had a drink... I think it might help cleaning and the next 3 hours go by quicker.
As a side note, sparkling apple-cranberry cider seems to go extremely quickly when you pour cups and just guzzle them down. However since I'm using the bottle as a chaser to my peppermint super schnapps, (because I'm festive!) it seems to be lasting a while! That alone makes my day happier.

Ha. I'm completely sober and didn't even catch this.
I don't have any plans. My only friends here all work at liquor stores so they're busy tonight, LOL. DH gets off at 11 (maybe), so I might pick up some wine for just the two of us.
I *still* have no clue what I'm doing tonight. It's our sort of anniversary when the clock strikes midnight so either way we ARE doing something cool. Even if it's just going to get some barbecue and have a few drinks... He gets home in an hour and a half though so I guess we'll decide our plans then.
Until that I'm going to have another drink and attempt to clean a little more!

*grumble* Apparently instead of going bar hopping 7 streets away and taking a taxi home like *I* wanted to, I have to DD the boy and his POS best friend around so we can "party hop". (And all the place he wants to go are "North" of the city, and we are almost to "South" city and I am NOT willing to spend that much on a taxi when I could splurge on myself, go eat, etc.)
Can I just stay home and drink via computer with you girls??

I'm sorry you're having such a rough weekend, especially since it's a holiday and your anniversary tomorrow! I think the Beatles bar you talked about going to sounded great. You deserve to have fun and this change of plans sucks. If anything, his POS best friend should be the DD and chauffeuring you guys around.
And, you're always welcome to stay home and Nest with me.
That's a very cute suggestion considering his best friend is a WINNER and... has no license! Or ID. So he can't even come out and drink with us, which I'm sure is why the bar was excluded.
I did NOT want to wake up on our anniversary with his best friend on my couch. This does suck, I hate the holidays. They aren't home yet, and we have 2 1/2 hours before we're heading out anywhere... so I it could very well be that I'm pissy and drunk by that point and spending NYE Nesting with you! Hehe.
Wow... He really IS a winner, eh? No wonder the bar is out of the question.
I hope your H understands soon where you're coming from.
