S/O: Slow-Cookers & Voltage Converters?
Yes to crockpots, but all small electrical is expensive. Bring your own and buy a converter.
Does this actually work? Is it safe?!
I have a 110V crock pot and some beast-sized converters that could handle it, but I have been terrified to ever try this. To me, the idea of leaving a slow-cooker plugged into a converter when I'm gone for the day just has "kitchen fire" written all over it. I'm scared of leaving anything bigger than my little 50W converter plugged in when I'm not around. Am I just being paranoid?
