WIJFR: The Wild Rose (poss SP)

And I have to say I'm really disappointed in this book.  I LOVED the first two books and was really excited about this one.  It was still good but I didn't love it and it took me a really long time to get into it.

I think maybe it was the characters in this one.  I just didn't like Willa and thought she was really selfish through the whole thing.  I really liked Willa and Seamie in the side story in The English Rose, but both of them sort of let me down in this one.

Anyway, I think maybe she will write another book about Albie??  She made a hint about it in this book.

  • I actually really liked this one for the most part. But I think I liked the first half of it better than the second half. The ending really bugged me though.

I just loved reading books about that era.

I think the next book will be about Katie maybe or one of Fiona's kids. Where did you see the hint?

Albie is thinking about Seamie and Willa and he says something along the lines "I wonder if I will ever find a love that crazy, yada yada".  Can't remember exactly what the wording was but it made me think that there would be an Albie book.

  • I loved the first two books as well.  I waited forever for book three and I was kind of disappointed too.  I didn't like Willa either.  It made it hard for me to keep reading.  I have to admit though that book one was my favorite.

This was supposed to be a trilogy.  So I think this will be the last one.  I'd rather read a new one about Katie rather than Albie.
