Any suggestions for casual winter shoes for up north? We get very cold temps and snow for about 5 months. I'm looking for something nicer than tennis shoes but not as dressy as heels. I have black boots, but want something non-boot. Basically something to run errands, go to casual dinners, wear over to a friends' apartment... Picturing wearing with jeans mostly, potentially slacks to work (for the loafers)?
I was looking at loafers and oxfords... are they in? Classic? Able to be styled multiple ways? I'm not very good at F&B, but I try to look put together. I definitely need something that's okay to wear with trouser socks.
I was looking at (sorry, no PIP):
