Ignorance is Bliss.

Relted to the other post "do you ever do this".  I find I'm less stressed here, and its because I'm ignorant to what's going on around me in a way.

I don't watch a lot of Dutch TV, I catch the news on Sky or CNN to see what's up around the globe.  I watch ENews for my pop culture fix.  But since I don't have a newspaper handy, don't have the news on in the back ground, I don't know all the bad stuff that happens here in the NL that often. I think the news has added way to much stress to our livesHmm

Re: Ignorance is Bliss.

  • I agree with you. I pretty much avoid the news on a regular basis. I will check the headlines on CNN.com or MSN.com but that is about the extent of it. I am too empathetic and I get too anxious over situations that I have no control over so for me, ignorance of those situations truly is bliss.
