Publius and Onesly

Thanks for the suggestions!  We had our delicious macarons from Pierre Herme along with some champagne.  Yummm!

So.... where do we get some in Geneva?  And do they do fondue there?  I want to dunk all kinds of sh!t in chocolate while I'm there.

  • I've not been to Geneva, but when we were in Switzerland, there was fondue EVERYWHERE!!!  Enjoy it, and have some Rostii as well!

  • Most of the chocolate and pastry shops in Geneva make and sell macarons, so it shouldn't be a problem finding them. As for fondue, the best is in little pop-up seasonal restaurants down by the lake. You're going later this month though, right? In that case the seasonal places won't be open and the best you can get is probably at a place called the Swiss Chalet in Planpalais. It is at the foot of the empty set of city blocks that they call a park, vert close to the Cirque bus stop.
  • Thanks, Publius!  And thanks for the suggestion, Onesly.  I'm so excited!  And now FH and I have decided that we both love macarons and want to have them as favors.  I wonder if Italians are any good at them.  If not, we'll just gorge ourselves :-)
