Blogging teacher returns to work

At same exact school, teaching same classes and grade level.

I'm really not surprised that she's returning, I knew they wouldn't be able to fire her, since this is very much a first amendment issue and the district would have to really prove that this had permanent impacts on her students.  I guess this is the district's way of forcing her to eat humble pie.

Re: Blogging teacher returns to work

  • I guess by making her teach the same grade/classes, it's the best way for the district to try to make it a non-issue (if they switched her to a different school, it raises the question, "why that grade/school?"). I wouldn't want to be in the same school, though, if I were her.
