Thanks for the compliment on my photos! If you like the tulips from the Bellagio, you might like some of these from Callaway in March.

Re: *eeeva*

  • I love the colors in that orange and yellow tulip pictures from Callaway. You take great shots. The clarity and color in your photos look so good.

What kind of camera do you use?

  • Thank you! I'm still learning about photography and need a lot more practice. It takes a lot of time to learn what to do to get the shot/effect you desire. I need to work on composition more and I know my low vision limits what I can do at times, but I still enjoy it and always have. I get lots of funny looks when people see me with my camera and my white cane, but I don't care. :)

I shoot with a Canon Rebel T2i DSLR, which I adore. All of the photos from Vegas and Callaway were with my "good" lens - a Canon 17-55mm f/2.8 IS. It's a nice general-purpose lens that is great for travel. It's heavy, but it's an awesome upgrade from the kit lens, which is very limited. I've gotten to the point now where I don't even bother taking any other lenses out of the hotel room, unless I know I'll need them. I had to save up for a while to get that 17-55mm and now I'm saving up for another "good" one. It's an expensive hobby and the "lens lust" never ends!
