Which chore is most futile?

I was doing some cleaning partly because its needed so bad and partly cuz I don't wanna study and got to thinking (apparently I do this a lot while cleaning) which chore do you feel is most futile?

I was having a hard time deciding between vacuuming (I have two dogs who shed and I shed a lot too), dusting, or washing dog snot off windows. I'm leaning towards dusting.

Re: Which chore is most futile?

  • Dusting or vacuuming the stairs.  My least favorite.

  • Dusting for sure. Although dog prints on the window can feel like it because as soon as you clean them off, someone's nose is pressed against it again!

  • Doing dishes!!  I hate them, everytime I get them all cleaned they get dirty again.

  • Laundry.  No matter how much I wash, fold, and put away, I'm always wearing something that will just need to go in the hamper.  Unless I become a nudist or block the window in my front door, I'll never finish the laundry completely.  I get so mad when it's "done" and then I throw a t-shirt or something in  the bottom of the hamper.  SOOOO MAD!

  • I hate vacuuming so much that it is not DH's official chore lol. The chore that I hate most is actually dusting blinds. What a pain the a**. I only have 2 sets of blinds left in my house because they drive me nuts!

    All of them.

I've got to agree with this.  As soon as I am done with any of them, I just have to start over again.

  • All chores are definitely a never ending cycle.

But doggie nose prints on the glass door is the worst.  I sometimes let it go a few days because I just don't feel like watching it get messed up .000004 seconds after I clean.

  • I'm going to have to go with the windows as well.  We have floor to ceiling windows in our living room and our 100 pound Great Dane/German Shorthaired Pointer mix gets nose prints ALLLLLL over them.  I clean them and then 5 seconds later, they're covered again.
