I can't decide what kind of "Poptails" to make this weekend.

Red, White, and Blue?  (Pomegranite, Pear, Blueberry)

Watermelon Mojito?

Bourbon Peaches and Cream?

I can't choose.

Life is hard.

I love my life.

  • Bourbon Peaches and Cream sounds good!

  • They all look really good.  I want everything on that page.

The red, white, and blue is a cute idea, but I'm not a huge pear fan. The watermelon mojito is my favorite; and the blackberry prosecco is my 2nd.

  • That's the trouble--they all sound fantastic!

I think the biggest drawback of the red white and blue ones is that they'd be kind of  a pain to make--since it's 3 different sections.

    I love my life.

  • I'm probably too cooking-stupid to make the layers properly.  Are they for a party or something?  Watermelon mojito sounds like it would be good for a cookout.

We were planning to make mojitos for my bff's shower in August and now I'm thinking adding watermelon is a genius idea.

  • I have two cookouts this weekend--one of which I'm hosting.  Both are in the afternoon/evening.
    I love my life.

  • BEST IDEA EVER! I want some of these now.

Can you do more than one kind? Watermelon seems appropriate for 4th of July, but it's definitely not my favorite. Would it work with tom collins? Lemon seems like it would be really good.

Making a Tom Collins (or Vodka Collins) poptail should work fine.

    I love my life.

  • Do most people like lemon? I freaking love lemon, especially when it's hot.

  • I want to get a popsicle tray and buy alcohol and other ingredients now.

I had amazing blueberry basil sorbet the other day and was wishing it had alcohol. Maybe I could re-create it as a poptail...mmmm...

  • If you want red white and blue, you can always make something white, drop some blueberries in the bottom of the glass and garnish the side with strawberry slices. Walla!

ETA: I completely missed the point

No, it's a great idea!  It would be easier than freezing 3 different types of booze solutions.

    I love my life.
