What would you make with steak tips?

Stop & Shop has 3lbs of steak tips on sale this week. Any ideas on how to cook it? I don't usually buy them, so I don't know what the best ways to eat them are. The picture in the ad shows kabobs, so I'll definitely try that... but I'd love other ideas since that much meat is 6 or so meals for us.

Thanks!

Re: What would you make with steak tips?

  • Rob usually makes them on the grill.  I'll usually marinade them in something before cooking.  Maybe we'll pick some up! :)

  • Are they marinated?  If not, you can make a beef stew out of them.

You can do this: Beef Tips in Mushroom Sauce

    Or this: No Peek Tips

I bet you could do a shepherd's pie with them too.  Grill them, cut them up, and use them as the meat in the pie.

  • Sometimes I marinade them. Other times we just put some rub on them and grill them. We serve them with carbs: rice, potatoes, or sweet corn. Target has sweet corn on sale this week. Liam and I are going to have corn for lunch tomorrow

  • I used to make them all the time when I was married.  I would marinate with garlic, terryaki, scallion, ginger, honey for a couple of days and then grill them.

Nope, not marinated. Thanks for saying stew - we have a recipe for mexican beef stew we've been wanting to make! And No Peek Tips sounds really easy and yummy, so we might have to try that, too.

I will definitely marinate and grill them, too! Thanks for the help!
