Dog friendly beaches?

Are there any dog friendly here in R.I. I am killing for a day at the ocean but would love to take my pup with me. Thanks!!!

Re: Dog friendly beaches?

  • I know the state beaches are not.  I'm not sure about the Town Beaches. There may be some private beaches that would be OK to bring your dog but most likely not.  of course after the beaches close you can pretty much do what you want.

I believe for most of the dog-friendly beaches, it's only after-hours or off-season. However, this site may be helpful to locate a beach to bring your pooch -- http://www.dogfriendly.com/server/travel/guides/beach/beachstateRI.shtml
