I use Matrix Sleek or Amplify and my hair never gets greasy on its own.  My issue is I am a disgusting sweater.  I look like I have had a bucket of water dumped on me even if I am only on the elliptical for 30 minutes.  It is so gross.

That really sucks...and is a small reason why I'm not missing my gym days!

I could last just doing every other day by putting my hair in a really high bun (away from my neck and hairline, and wearing an ugly thick headband right at my hairline to keep sweat out of my hair.  Then I usually just washed with water right around the edge of my hair.  You have a lot more hair than me though!

My sweating is so out of control that only a really high bun works for me normally.  I am SO gross at the end of a workout.  I run a mile before I work with my training and my shirt is always soaked through before she kills me.  I am so gross.  I have just accepted it and go with it...what else can you do?

I am the same way.  Hardcore sweat-er here.  My hair is drenched after running and/or working out, so I feel like I need to wash it.  The thought of using dry shampoo/baby powder/cornstarch on my hair, then sweating, then repeating the dry shampoo process totally icks me out.

DON'T ABUSE THE DRY SHAMPOO. My rule of thumb, if you sweat / workout, then shower & wash hair. If you're lazy and don't want to go thru the hassle of doing your hair & did NOT just workout. Then use the Dry Shampoo.

Count me in the disgusting sweater camp.  Ugh.  When I was a cheerleader in high school and we were cheering at games, EVERYONE else would look all perfect and beautiful, and I would look like the drowned rat.  I HATED it.

I feel you - I'm a gross sweater too.  And although not quite to the extent my mom deals with it, I seem to have inherited her head-sweating tendencies.

  • Anyone sweat from their eyebrows? Mine were like melting icescicles. Would.not.stop.
  • Awww, poor ccc!  :)  I remember those days.  I even remember an "argument" we had a/b pigs and whether or not they sweat.  I think I was trying to convince you that there are times that I "sweat like a pig" and you were like "Nuh uh!  Pigs don't sweat.  It's a fact that pigs don't sweat.  You don't know what you are talking about."  And then I kicked your as$ for talking back to me.

Aaaanyway, back to the topic at hand...

Warontv--where do you work???!!!  I want to go!

When my husband was working insane hours last year and I was under lots of stress I started getting weekly blowouts.  Love it.  Mine will last 2 days, then I can extend it if I haven't worked out by using Suave Dry shampoo (I used to swear by Ojon, but then found Suave and it works wonderfully!).

Sometimes the girls at the salon will just wash my hair (when I'm feeling cheap) and I'll go home and dry it.  It dries faster that way somehow.

I don't get the blowouts as often anymore b/c my hair has started to grow out from a HORRID haircut (as in crying bad), so it's easier to dry and style...but, I still get them for special occasions (date night, going out of town, girl's night, etc.).  In fact I'm getting one tomorrow :)
