i got a new pair of jeans a couple weeks ago...i've washed them 3 times, and i thought that it would be safe to wear with my white jacket--i was wrong.
how many times do you wash your jeans before you feel like they are "safe" to wear with white? and how do we get them to stop bleeding???

The Laundry Nazi agrees with this:

It depends on the quality. I went into forever21 the other day and just touching some of the jeans to try them on, my hands were completely blue! I have some medium quality ones from Zara that I wear with white shirts, but wouldn't wear with a jacket (I feel like the shirt just sits on the jeans rather than rubbing) - sometimes if I touch them a lot I will see it come off on my hands. And then I have some Citizens that I feel the most comfortable wearing with light things - but even then I still think they got a little on my cream pea coat once and I just don't wear those together.
I think, sadly, I avoid the combination because it always happens a little :-/
