? about cleaning with Vinegar/Water solution

What surfaces should I NOT use this on???

Can I use it on wood?

Re: ? about cleaning with Vinegar/Water solution

  • We have hardwood floors and I have used it on it; HOWEVER, my H would DIE if he knew I did this so I scrub sections of the floor w/this mixture and then immediately wipe up w/a dry-ish towel/rag so that water is just not sitting on the floor. Also, I don't use this EVERY time I clean the floors.

This is exactly what I do.

  • We use it on HW.....you don't need a lot if water, just make sure to ring out the rag really well before you wash the floor.

  • I've read that you're not supposed to use it on granite because it can cause etching over time from the acidity...but I do it anyway Embarrassed
