Royal Wedding Faux Pas?

So, the official royal wedding invitation came out today and...

IT INDICATES REQUIRED DRESS CODE ON THE INVITATION! (Which, if you're curious, is "uniform, morning coat, or lounge suit").

I'm waiting patiently for P&E/Entertaining Ideas/some equivalent on The Bump to explode...and kinda giggling with glee at the image of Knotties railing against Queen Elizabeth.

I think the royal wedding should be the new etiquette standard for all weddings. Faxed save-the-dates? No problem! Putting dress code on the invite? Why of course!
