I listen to my iPod Touch both in my car and headphones. In the car, I turn the volume in iTunes to 90% volume since I am using my iPod adapter to listen through my car speakers. Obviously, when I listen via headphones, I listen at 20% volume.
Situation: I'm removing the iPod from my car (iTunes is left @ 90% volume) and want to listen to iTunes via headphones (20% volume). When I turn on my iTunes, the volume at the bottom is all the way to the left (0% volume). Even when I hit the play button and the song is playing, you can't hear anything since it's at 0% volume. However, when you put your headphone jacks in, the volume skyrockets back to the 90% volume (so I'm assuming it skyrockets back to its last volume state). I've literally hurt my ears since I forget where I left my volume since it could be a few days later when I decide to listen to headphones.
Does anyone else experience this? I've tried looking at settings, but I can't find anything for a "pre-set" for car vs. headphones.
