  • Um, what is this?

    We both LOVE chocolate.

  • DH and I went a couple years ago.  We actually got the Chocolate Angel Tickets, so we had access to the private VIP room that included free parking at the stadium, admission 1 hour early for a complimentary cocktail hour.  (They had a limited menu of cocktails that all included some type of chocolate liquor.)

I'll be totally honest, I got pretty buzzed drinking a cocktail that was made up of chocolate flavored vodka and some type of cream liquor.  Needless to say we went out into the "main" area a little late.

I did enjoy a lot of the vendors.  My favorites were Sugarbakers (they were giving away red velvet cupcakes) and Sascha's Catering (which had a chocolate pulled pork BBQ that was quite good).

In real life I am pretty shy so I am not good at walking up and talking to people, but with my chocolate flavored liquid courage it was a pretty good time.

Now, all that being said.  Dh asked me if I want to go again this year and I said no.  Like you said, the tickets are pricey (and the Chocolate Angel Tickets aren't in out post-baby budget!)  We have decided that we are going to save our money to buy tickets to the Blue Jean Ball.  That is a fundraiser in May to benefit the Maryland Food Bank.
