Yep. I work until 3. Even had to come in a little early today to let a building engineer in to fix a bad lighting ballast. The "good news" is that it's totally dead. There are only 4 of us in the office. And there is absolutely nothing going on.
Right now, I'm on hold (after being hung up on) with a collections agency that keeps calling for someone who hasn't worked here in years. They keep doing these automated calls that are super obnoxious. While I was "on hold" previously, I kept hearing these women talking very unprofessionally in the background, saying stuff like "I ain't gonna answer that phone!" Then finally someone put the hold music on for me. A few minutes later, someone picked up and said "hello?" and when I said "yes..." they hung up on me.
I'm working-We're off at 3:30, but we have a ton of people out today and it's our last day to issue policies for the month, and the year to put money on the books. Normally when people are out around holidays their work isn't distrubuted, but when it's the last day to issue we have to pick up the slack. It sucks.
Oh well, 2010 pretty much sucked so it's in line! Luckily the phones are dead, and we get Monday off.

Not working, but it's because I don't have a job yet, not because I'm off. I'm taking the weekend to finish recovering from the move and then I'm getting serious about being a real and contributing California resident!
I'm trying to figure out if I should go places and get things I might need since stores and stuff will be closed tomorrow. Or if I want to continue lazing around in my pjs. So far, lazing in pjs is winning by a landslide.
OMG. Blueberry pancakes sound really good right now (or anytime). Food is the one thing that may motivate me to get dressed and leave the apartment.

Actually I had this past week (don't hate me). Right now, I am making some honey roasted peanuts, artichoke dip in one crockpot and the mini sausages w/cranberry sauce and chili sauce in the other.
Tonight we are going to pick up chinese food. Tomorrow I am making cioppino. YUM!!

IUI #1 10/12/11 (Bravelle + HCG + Prometrium & acupuncture) = 10/26 BFP! Beta #1=250, Beta #2= 615. 1st u/s 11/8.
Didn't work today, but it sounds like folks have Monday off instead? I think we chose this date in a meeting.
Anyway, DH is out watching Tron in 3D with some friends. (I can't do 3D movies for extended periods of time, so I'm home.) We watched the original today. Which was weird. And very 80s.
I did a little bit of contract work, fixed my laptop again, ran a few errands, and figuring out how much alcohol to bring over to SIL/BIL's for this evening. (Not sure how many people are coming... or if they are huge drinkers.)
Tomorrow - my friend is throwing a brunch for a few people. That is, if I can get my ass out of bed.
