PS3 Owners - Can it really do everything?

DH and I bought a PS3 recently...our DVD player gave up the spoon on us so we figured what the heck, might as well do the blue-ray thing to go with our newish HDTV.

So what all do you use your PS3 for? (other than the obvious DVDs and games).

Re: PS3 Owners - Can it really do everything?

  • We stream our Netflix on it and my husband has learned to hook up his computer to it so we can view our pictures on the TV.
  • You can stream music, stream movies, stream photos, surf the web, play blu-ray movies, play video games... You can do a lot with a PS3

  • I've been thinking about getting Hulu Plus for it.

  • Games, Netflix, BluRay, Play cds
  • Games and blu ray pretty much. It's in the bedroom where there's not a lot of room (we have an older house) so we don't do the dancing and fitness games on it; we'll use the Wii in the basement for those kinds of activities.
  • My favorite thing about it is the ability to stream Netflix (I don't really play video games), but yeah, you can surf the web, play bluray or regular dvds, cds...So yeah, it basically does do everything!
  • it's pretty much amazing
