BWLO-questions

I like reading the BWLO posts, but I'm also clueless.

What is a Lovie?

What is a seahorse?

Haha-thanks!!

Re: BWLO-questions

  • I call lovies this little blanket critter things they sleep with - kind of like their security blanket but I really think "lovey" can be a generic term for anything that serves this role.

Seahorse is the Fisher Price soothe and glow seahorse - lights up and plays music.  baby crack.

  • A lovie is typically a blanket with a stuffed animal head on it, like this:

    A seahorse is this:

  • Ah ha!

I have seen the "lovies" as my niece and nephew had them, but no idea that there was a mommy term for them.  Love it-super cute.  I just assumed it was whatever their "comfort" toy/blanket was.

And the Seahorse.  I know nothing of this magical creature, but amazed that it popped up in so many posts below, so it's obviously popular! How funny.  Especially since it's a seahorse.. not exactly your typical stuffed animal shape.  Why not a bear?
