How many ToT'ers did you get?

This is our first year in our new house & we are so excited to have trick-or-treaters!!!  So far we've had 46 (DH thinks I'm crazy for keeping count, but I think its fun!  We've got a bet going on how many we'll get).

So, about how many trick-or-treaters did you get?  And what part of town do you live in?

ETA:  now we've had 101 and its only 7:20pm...I hope we don't run out of candy!  We have surpased both of our bets (I bet 75 & DH bet 100).  Next year we'll have to buy a couple extra bags of candy at Costco! lol

Oh, and we are in East Aurora south of Buckley AFB.

no identifiable siggy pictures anymore, thanks a lot stupid nest!

  • Ugh! How frustrating our neighborhood never gets many.  So far we have had our two neighbor boys and my nephew.  Its safe to say you are winning.
  • A lot!! We ran out of candy 4 huge bags in under an hour this was the 1st time we have done ToT at this house!! I will know for next year. Ohh and I live in the springs

Its always hard to predict when its your first year in a new house!  We bought 4 huge bags at Costco & I bought another 4 bags at Target this afternoon b/c I was afraid we wouldn't have enough...and sure enough we're almost out of candy & its only 7:30.  When the candy is gone we'll just turn off our porch light, but I feel bad.  LOL  We've had so many little little kids who are SO cute in their costumes!

  • I would honestly guess we had around 600+.  We bought 6 big bags of candy from Costco (each had like 150 - 175 mini candy bars or M&Ms in them) - we just had to turn out our lights because we ran out of candy!!  There were literally lines from one house to the next since about 5.  I was warned since this is our first year in this house but it is insane!!  I really enjoyed seeing all the cute kids Smile

  • We've probably had only 30-40.  It is our first year in our new house too, we didn't know what to expect, so we had about 10 pounds of candy (which doesn't seem like much, but it filled a huge basket).  We have 1/2 or a little less left.  We haven't had any tot's in about 20-30 minutes, I hope they aren't done... I don't want all this candy in the house!

  • We have had about 30-50ish. I went for a walk with the dogs, so I don't know how many my sister got while I was gone. It isn't too bad- steady but not horrible. I couldn't imagine 600+ but my parents got about that many in their last neighborhood.

I'm in NM right now :)

  • I suppose we've had about 300, we live in Roxborough.

  • we ran out of candy after 150 kids.  DH offered to run to the store & buy more...but I voted for turning off the light & making sure we buy more candy next year.  I thought 4 bags from Costco would have been enough but apparently not!

Wow, I guess that doesn't surprise me b/c Stapleton is supposed to be so family/kid friendly...but 600 trick-or-treaters is insane! :)

  • We've had about 300 so far, I think. We're almost out of candy, so we'll only be able to have 15 more or so and we'll be turning out the light. The little ones are so cute, but I totally get skeeved out by the hordes of 14 year old girls with super-slutty costumes on (and there's been a bunch).

No more baby siggie pics. Boo.

yea, one of my last groups before I ran out of candy was a group of about 6 girls who looked like they might have been 13 or 14 yrs old & they were VERY scantily clad.  My dad would never have let me dress like that!

  • I didn't keep track, we bought 2 bags at Target on Thursday and DH picked out his favorite and we still have candy left over.

  • WE had about 30..we live in SE Aurora in a new subdivision but figured we'd have more.
  • 5.  I don't get it!  We live in a great ToTing neighborhood....just don't think there are many kids around.

That happened to us last year! It was our first Halloween home and we only had 10-15. We figured that we'd have hundreds because it is a young neighborhood with tons of kids! There was so much candy left over :(

  • I think we probably got 20-30, and I thought for sure we would have a lot more.  Now we'll know for next year, but hopefully it picks up as the oung neighborhood gets more kiddos
  • Ummm...yea.  We are in Highlands Ranch and we had about 10 Sad

  • My doorbell has been rung 3 times, for a total of 9 kids.  Which I think it about 3 more kids than we got last year.  lol  This neighborhood just doesn't get a lot of ToTers.

  • We got about 50, but we were out with DS for the peak, so we probably missed a lot.  We live in NW Denver.  It is a popular trick or treating neighborhood because houses are very close together.

  • I took V out so I don't know for sure, but we went thru 3 large bags of candy in 2 hours.
  • ~15.

A big old middle finger to you, stupid Nest.
  • We didn't get any. We live in a condo and I think the 6 years I have lived here I have maybe had 2 or 3 ToT'ers. Another reason I can't wait to have a house.
  • I didn't count, but we gave out 300+ pieces of candy over here in SE Aurora.

  • Maybe 60?  We used to get hundreds.  :(  I have an entire 150 count bag unopened.
  • I'd guess around 50 or so.  I ran out of candy at 7:45 and felt really bad, but no way was I running out for more.  I just turned the light off.

  • I'd guess between 100-200 but my Dad was here alone doing it for about 1-2hours so I can't say for sure.  I saw several groups of 10+ kids wandering around so that alone would be 100 or so. I live in central Denver (Cheesman Park).
  • I'd say we got about 20.
  • I'd say around 30-ish?

It was a pretty light year for us. I was pretty generous with candy and we still have a bunch left over!

Oh well, more Snickers for me. ;)
