Fit Friday

Happy Friday ladies!  I hope everyone's week was wonderful and successful!  I noticed not too many people checked in last week...perhaps it was because I got on later than usual.  Let's make sure we keep each other motivated and on track!  Even if we have to whip your bum before Friday Wink

 

How did everyone do this week?  I did ok...Although I said I was staying off the scale, I got on it anyway...and, again, no change.  But I'm still seeing a difference in the way I look and even DH said something last night.  Only working out 4 days this week, I have family up from Florida.  Next week will resume to 5 days.

So, this week's discussion.... What motivates you? I had NO motivation this week and feel my work outs suffered due to this.  However, my SIL and I decided to start getting healthy together and that helps.  Also, although its probably annoying to my friends, I check in on FB everytime I go to the gym.  I feel it keeps me honest, although this week that wasn't working.  If it keeps me going and feeling bad when I don't check in daily, then people can just hide me.

  • How did everyone do this week?  I started WW's this week. I am already down 2 lbs from Monday. I know most of it is water weight but I will take it!!

    What motivates you? Since having Austin I have wanted to lose the extra baby weight, but never had the motivation. Then my parents offered to take us on a cruise with them in Jan. That was all the motivation I needed. Lets just hope I can Keep with it.

    How did everyone do this week? I hadn't worked out since we got back from vacation so pretty much starting over on the P90x. Worked out Monday-Thursday, so think OK

    What motivates you? Looking at the wedding pics and knowing that I hadn't worked out in like a month, know I need to get my butt back into gear, literally!

     That's awesome!  Although, I thought you looked smokin' before, I'm glad you are doing something for you.  YAY for cruises!  Where are you going?

    Anyway, how I did...well.  Um.  I ate pretty good..  I am having a tough time figuring out the right amount of calories to eat to keep up the milk supply but still lose weight.  When I follow WW for Nursing moms, my milk supply drops.  So then I was drinking protein shakes.  Those things are seriously nasty and I don't want to try that hard to lose weight.  It shouldn't be torture, ya know.  So I am having a really hard time working it all out.

    Motivation?  I pay more than I want to admit for a gym membership.  SO I don't want to waste that.  And it sounds bad, but my only break from miss K is during the day is going to the gym so it motivates me to go to re-energize me and give me more energy to hang with Miss K and give her more activities.

  • I too said I wasn't getting on the scale but did, I'm down 2 pounds but don't feel like it.  I actually feel heavier this week than I did last week... does that make sense, strange? I think the difference is, before when I was the same weight, I was toned so everything fit better.

    Anyways, I did OK this week, ate OK but didn't work out once Embarrassed  I got home late every night and had to be back at work early, I hate that!

    My motivation is wearing my skinny clothes.  I try to make sure to keep wearing my smaller clothes to remind myself not to overindulge and keep track of how the clothes are fitting.  I also keep looking at wedding photos to keep up the motivation.

    I'm going to Toronto for a week (leave Thurs) for a work conference.  I'm going to use that time strictly for myself.  Go to the conference, take advantage of workout and steam room and eat healthy (because the only food I'll really have at my disposable will be meals I buy, so not a lot of "junk" around to entice me).  I'm hoping this will help jump start me back on the right track!
