QOTW May 30th - Sorry this is late!

Sorry ladies - I was out of town and it was a mess when I tried to post it from my phone so here it goes....

What do you do for exercise? Are you happy with the amount of time you spend on your fitness?

I have to unpack the car and get some stuff done but I'll answer when I get back. Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend!

  • H and I go for walks most days. Some days we head to the Y in town for some machine action. But not often enough. I just can't motivate myself to go often enough.... Maybe over summer I'll get back into a routine.
  • Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend!  I got to relax, cookout, meet up with friends, play softball and go shopping ... so it was about perfect!

     I'm not happy with the amount I exercise.  It's not nearly enough.  It's on my list of things to improve about myself/my life.  I used to do power walking workouts at least 3 times a week.  A big project at work that stole all my free time is why I stopped, but I really need to get back into the habit.  My H and I are on a co-ed softball team, so that's some exercise and sunshine but it's only once a week.  At least I get that, if nothing else!

  • I'm happy with my weight but not with my fitness. I feel like I need to be in better shape (that could be because my DH is in great shape). I'm doing a 5K today so I guess thats a start.
  • A 5K??  Wow, that's quite a start!! How'd it go?
  • I've been horribly inconsistent since the wedding!  First it was holidays and then honeymoon and then blizzards and then allergies.  No shortage of excuses here!  We joined a new gym yesterday (close to home!) and I'm pumped to get back into it!
  • I have not posted on this in a long time.  Stick out tongue 

    For exercise, I like doing pilates and aerobics.  I also like running.  I tend to keep up with pilates more than any other exercise. Lately, I've been lagging so I want to pick it up a bit.
