Cooking classes around Indy?

I love to cook and my husband recently said that he would like to get into the "cooking thing" as well, so I am looking around for some fun cooking classes that we can go to together. We live just south of Indianapolis, but anything around the indianapolis area would be fine. Does anyone know of any places that offer this?

TIA!

Re: Cooking classes around Indy?

  • In Greenwood there is Salad Masters which offers cooking classes.  There is also Kiss z cook in Carmel.
  • William Sonoma does some fun workshops, though they usually "encourage" you to buy the stuff they used in the class.

I would also check your parks department--mine is doing a cooking class this summer that sounds really fun.

Can't wait for a week of fun in the sun with my love!
  • There used to be a really great place at 86th and Ditch. I want to say someone bought the stuff and opened up again not that far from the original place?

I would also check with a VoTech like Ben Davis or Arsenal Tech.

Move along, nothing to see here.....
  • I heard Salad Master really presses you to buy the pots and pans because the class is free and in your home.

We were going to do kiss z cook, but our friend's did and said it's not a class.  They pair you up with another couple, give your the directions/ingredients, and just walk around and observe/comment.  Not what we are looking for the price they are charging.

H and I have been looking for awhile and not found anything.
