TIP on the bump

http://community.thebump.com/cs/ks/forums/thread/37501945.aspx

Her H is refusing to speak to her or hold the baby & most of the responses are the usual bump insanity- he must be stressed, having a new baby is hard on him etc.

Don't forget that all men are douchebags and asshats because it's in their DNA.

fiizzlee = vag ** fiizzle = peen ** Babies shouldn't be born wit thangs ** **They're called first luddz fo' a reason -- mo' is supposed ta come after. Yo Ass don't git a medal fo' marryin yo' prom date. Unless yo ass is imoan. I aint talkin' bout chicken n' gravy biatch. Then yo ass git a all-expenses paid cruise ta tha Mediterranean n' yo ass git ta hook up Jared Padalecki on tha flight over while bustin yo' jammies. But still no medal.
  • and they're children, but we can't possibly know that until we have children with them Indifferent
  • In my opinion, it's a classic example of the stress and responsibility of a baby exacerbating a problem that was already there.  I didn't read many of their responses, but I don't think any response can be really helpful to her because he probably got this way when he was upset/annoyed/stressed about anything before the baby came along.  She is just "shocked" that he could act that way in regard to his own child.

I also have to raise my brow a bit to her saying, "if you truly love me", that is such BS.  They both need to grow up and work through their problems like adults, stop the game playing!

Indifferent   He's a charmer all right.

No amount of effort is going to help her find happiness in that marriage.

  • Possible PPD in new dads?

I heard about this the other day on our local news station; men can get PPD, along with women, apparently.

I realize that having a new baby is stressful on both parents, and it wouldn't surprise me that Dad's are prone to depression after the baby is born.  Their lives are completely turned upside down, they have more financial burden, less sleep, less sex, less time with their wife, less free time, the list goes on.

I still don't think the Bump poster's husband is acting that way because of anxiety/depression.  It really sounds like he is just a jerk.

  • Where did she find this treasure? I just read that post.

She moved too quickly -- I never understood why some women want to jump into TTC immediately after the wedding. Your marriage needs legs and it's evident that there were none here at all in that marriage.

  • Maybe he's having trouble dealing with the fact that they named their child Brylee. It sounds like a kitchen sponge or something.
