I definitely enjoy lifting weights way more than doing cardio so I have been considering buying that book you mentioned earlier..   Are you seeing a difference yet or is it too soon to tell?   Do you do most of the exercises in the gym or did you buy dumbbells to do it at home?

Re: *Samantha

  • Too soon to tell as I have only done 5 workouts so far. But I will say I have already upped my weights, which shows that I am getting stronger.

You need to go to a gym as you need a cable machine, heavier dumbbells, and a bar.

They have the book in paperback now so it isn't too expensive.

There is also this forum where you can find a lot about it.

I finally feel like I have a lifting routine that doesn't require an expensive trainer.

  • Sounds great.  I have a membership to LA fitness so it's not an issue for me to go there.  I'm going to stop at B&N on my way home today.  Thanks!
