Random ? about the library
Don't know if anyone will have the answer to this but I'll ask anyway...I want to start using our public library since I have a massive book addiction but currently don't have the funds to support it. I looked up online and found the one closest to our house and it says to get a card you have to bring in a bill and your driver's license proving your address. So here is the question: I haven't had my license changed since we moved so I have an out of state license and it won't match addy on the bill I bring in. Do you think they will still accept it? I tried to call and ask but the woman was very very old and didn't know what I was talking about. I am too lazy to drive over there in the rain just to be rejected so I thought I would check with you all first and see what you thought.

I'm here! I've been in training the past two days with no computer! Don't they know I need my nest fix?
Anyway, I would assume that your license is more for the picture ID part. I would bring a bill (or two) that is (are) as current as possible and just tell them you moved recently and haven't changed your license yet. That said...future librarian that I am and all...I have no public library experience so I could be wrong.

Thanks for the input ladies! I think I am just going to try to go in tomorrow. Hopefully it won't be storming like it is today so even if they say "no" it won't be a big deal.
2nd Bride: I know I should have had it done already but I have been too busy to go in and take the test. I am planning on going next week though.
Today was just boring training about increasing productivity...unfortunately, something my current office had scheduled months ago, but a good way to waste two days since I have *nothing* to do! I start the new job on Monday...I can't wait to get going!
krc - you have to take a test? When I got my MD license I just had to handover my VT one and prove I lived here! A test is so annoying
