Thank you.

Not sure sure how many of you know about groupon, but they finally added a new orleans page so I though I would share:

Also, looks like we've got some new blood on the board! I'll make an effort to check in more often. I like the idea of 1 post a day. I know we did that a while back, but it kinda fizzled.

Re: Groupon

  • Very cool - thanks for the heads up!
  • I've heard of Groupon but never found out what it was. I think a friend of mine uses it. Going to check out the link now, thanks!
  • Looks cool but my brain is fried from a crazy busy day - anyone care to summarise what it's all about?

  • Awesome.  Thanks for the link!
  • Looks like this board is getting some action! What is groupon?  Never heard of it.

I've never heard of it either until this post but it looks pretty cool. I think it acts like a gift card. I signed up the other day and I got an email for a a book store, for $10 I would get a gift card worth $20. Every day they e-mail you a new store/location. There was on there for a spa for a half off massage.

I haven't actually bought one yet so I'm not sure exactly how it works, but I know you basically buy something at 50% off and get the full value.

  • Hmm that's interesting...thanks!
