Hi ladies:
We're coming in to town on May 1, for a bachelorette party for my sister. There will be 7 of us. She doesn't want the 'typical' bachelorette party with bar-hopping and such. I was planning on doing some shopping, then going to the spa...having dinner somewhere- then maybe going out to a few bars at the end of the night. I need HUGE help!!! Can you make rec's for:
-Shopping
-Spa
-Dinner
-Is the comedy club any good??????
TIA!!!
Re: Out of towner needs your help!
Kohler has all of those things in one spot....is that too far away? (about 45 min north of Milw.) www.destinationkohler.com
If you want to be in Milwaukee, there are tons of places.
Spa: I like Neroli (but I haven't used the spa services anywhere else to compare it too). www.nerolispa.com
Dinner: That is hard to recommend as there are tons of places. Does she have a favorite type of food? Fancier or more low key? I am always a fan of Louise's and Elsa's. www.louises.com and www.elsas.com both are pretty busy on the weekends. Elsa's has very tasty martinis. www.foodspot.com has lots of Milwaukee area restuarants.
The Comedy Club is fun.....or Comedy Sportz. I think Lucille's is fun, it is dueling pianos. I would suggest reservations so that they can put you at a close table. www.lucillesrocks.com
ok....nevermind my post then!
I don't really have any ideas on Madison.....although State Street has lots of shopping.....but is of course right in the middle of campus, so fun of college students.
A great restaurant in Madison is Samba's. It is a Brazilian grill. It is pricey, but unique, fun, and delicious! It is located down town. I could see this being a very fun place for a bachelorette party. Samba's
Another place we love is The Old Fashioned right downtown on capitol square. This restaurant serves traditional Wisconsin foods and beer. The only problem is that it gets VERY busy on weekends, and you'll likely wait a while to be seated. Shouldn't be too big of a problem though, considering that the bar there serves over 150 different types of Wisconsin brews.
West town mall is the nicest mall in Madison.
