They button! My Post-bump PIP

2 weeks later . . . I can button my normal jeans!

image

Wahoooey! I was so nervous to put them on for the first time.

Now the goal is to make these jeans too big and get back into the "skinny-girl" jeans that have been hiding out on the top shelf of the closet for 4+ years. : )

Wish me luck!

15 exactally, I was very proud of myself.

EDIT: I put on 5 pounds in the last 2 weeks.

And when you pop out a 9 pounder . . . you know you're ending better than you started. : )

Good luck to you!! I'm sure you'll be just fine at the doctor. I don't know how many times I told DH, "I ate like crap this week and I feel like I've gained 10 pounds" right before my appointment only to go in and be up a pound or so.

I was able to do it by telling myself there is no need to allow myself to say I'm eating for two - that pregnancy was no excuse to stuff my face. If you can keep the mentality of most of us already eat a diet sufficient for two people you should have some sucess. I also ate more healthy foods knowing I was feeding LO.

  • I am hoping I gain very little weight with my next pregnancy!  I didn't even attempt regular jeans until like 6 weeks pp.  LOL.  I was going to keep wearing maternity jeans as long as I could cause they were so comfy!!

Glad I'm not alone! I just got back into my biggest prepregnancy jeans this weekend. I gained 35 and lost almost 30 of that, but my belly just isn't the same and I'm afraid it never will be

I gained about 35 too and I've lost 25 of it. I have a feeling I'm going to have to work VERY hard to get my old belly back. I have to get a swimsuit for our Florida trip and I'm dreading going shopping for it. Do they have control panel swimsuits?!

Land's End and L.L. Bean have control panel swimsuits. I just looked at their sites and they can be a bit matronly, but it seemed like Land's End had a few cute ones in that category. I'm not sure what they look like on, but it's worth a shot.
