Looking for an all inclusive for a girls getaway

All my girlfiends are turning 30 this year and we want to get together for a 4 day trip to an all inclusive resort.  We are thinking sun, pool/beach, and drinks.  Three of the girls live in TX and I live in Cali so I was thinking Mexico but any ideas are welcome!

  • You could check out the Barcelo Bavaro AI's in DR.

For such a short trip,  I wouldn't recommend DR.  Your flying time from CA would be miserable.  I would recommend either Puerto Vallarta or Cancun area.  Are you looking for adults only, or are you not particular?  Do you have a price range?  We stayed at the Riu Palace Las Americas in Cancun and I'd recommend it for a girls trip.  If you wanted to pay a bit more, I'd go with the Royal Playa Del Carmen or Royal Cancun.

  • I'd recommend the Riu Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Fun trip, beautiful beach and son. Plenty to do as well - climb the Dunns River Water Falls, shop Ocho Rios,  scuba diving, horse riding, etc. All-inclusive as well.

Downfall: It's two hours from the Jamaica airport. (Negril, another Jamaica hot spot is roughly the same distance).

  • OMG, I turned 30 this past year and had my bachorlette party in Mexico.  We went to Secrets Silversands.  Very hip and a cool vibe. The spa was amazing. I got married at their family friendly property, Dreams Tulum  in Nov, so my trip served 2 purposes because I got a chance to swing by Dreams and get stuff done for my wedding.  I totally loved loved both resorts.  I am a big fan of AMRESORTS.  I used VIP Vacations for both trips and can't say enough about their team.  Please let me know if you need any other info~!
