Are there any good supplements out there?

I know, I know.  The only way to lose weight is through diet and exercise, and I plan on doing those of course.  I am just wanting something to jump start the weight loss in addition to what I'm already doing.

So are there any good, safe supplements that you've tried and liked?  Thanks!

Re: Are there any good supplements out there?

  • Nope!  Tried them all in High school and finally realized they are a gimic.

To jump start I would recommend a quick turn in your diet, more veggies less carbs.  I only did it last week but can already tell a difference in my waist (not huge but there is a difference).

  • There are TWO great supplements that can help. Diet and exercise. Try eating clean.....
  • If a pill could make one skinny, who would be fat?
  • This board is very anti-pill (for good reason).  Start by looking at how much/what you're eating.  My Daily Plate and SparkPeople are great websites to track your calorie intake.  You can also track exercise on those sites.

  • Google Apple Cider Vinegar and weight loss.  It does a LOT of good things for your body, and weight loss is just one of the perks.

I take it for my sinuses and yes, it does help with appetite suppression.

If by good and safe supplements you mean protein shakes after really tough workouts, then yes.

But if you are trying to call a diet pill a supplement, then no.
