What was your biggest accomplishment of 2009?

And do not say getting married, if you're a newlywed. I'm talking personal accomplishment.

Re: What was your biggest accomplishment of 2009?

  • organizing my closet

yeah this year wasn't very exciting

  • my job! coming off a six months of unemployment and getting a better position and doing well at it.
  • I'd say my job as well.  I got promoted in January. Then made a total life changing career change in August. I'm so glad that I did. More important job within my company, more money and much higher bonus. My bonus in march is more money than my entire salary my first year out of college after I graduated. So I'd def say my career change was my biggest accomplishment.

  • Sadly I have no career accomplishments to point to, so I'd say mine is getting out of credit card debt, after carrying some amount for the past 5 years or so.

Oh, and starting a blog that people actually read was pretty exciting :)

CC debt it a great accomplishment! I'm jealous. I'm hoping to get rid of my CC debt in 2010 with my bonus. It will be a huge weight lifted off my shoulders.

  • 2009 was pretty much consumed by all things baby.

Other than that, my biggest accomplishment is to finally figure out what I'm going to do career-wise.  I have been wanting to make a career change since the day I got my college diploma and I have positioned myself to go after it in 2010.

  • Getting my associate's in Fine Arts this past spring.  My college experience took me all over the place with majors and I was in and out of school for so long.  I'm so glad I finally figured out what to do with my life and made that happen.

  • 2009 was basically the year of weddings for me.  So since I can't say that, I have had no major accomplishments this year.  I kept my job, which was nice.  But it was more luck than anything as my subgroup in my department was kept in tact.

  • finishing my degree.
  • Buying a house would be the biggest. Didn't plan on doing it as soon as we did but glad it all worked out.
  • I'll say two:

And "letting" my mom back into my life.  It's been a big step, taken with many many baby steps. but a big step.

  • My 2009 was pretty much consumed by all things baby as well. At least that got me motivated to get my house in order, that was a pretty big accomplishment.
