How to properly decorate a tree!

I know some people here and on D&R have been asking questions about how many lights, how many ornaments, and what order to place everything.

So I created a post with my directions for putting up the perfect Christmas tree!

Hopefully you find it helpful! And feel free to share your own tips in the blog comments, too!

Re: How to properly decorate a tree!

  • Great tips! We ended up with about 30 ornaments per foot, but they are mostly bulbs and they are hidden back in the tree and the front so it doesn't look like the poor thing is about to topple over.

  • I'm a fan of like 15 or so ornaments per foot, I definitely think more is more LOL. But the minimum recommendation is what I posted on the blog, to give people a starting off point.
