SparkPeople-How do you enter Circuit Training?

And/or the 30 Day Shred, as an exercise?  Cardio or Strength?  I'm new to Spark, but dang!  Thanks guys for recommending it!  It looks GREAT.

Re: SparkPeople-How do you enter Circuit Training?

  • Enter it as cardio if you want to count the calories burned - Sparkpeople doesn't estimate calories for strength training.
  • I've been using the "Circuit" training option under the cardio exercises.  I have a feeling that it might be over-estimating how many calories I burn during each workout though.  My hrm hasn't been working this week, otherwise I'd use that to see how many calories I'm actually burning when I do it.

  • I use circuit training, and I don't count the warm up or cool down.  Level 1 is 21 minutes, Level 2 is 23 minutes, and Level 3 is 22 minutes.
  • I havent because I dont know how.
  • I used to enter it as cardio and manually entered the calories based on what my watch would say.  30DS would be in the range of 150 to 220 calories for me, depending on how hard I worked.
